Hello my dear readers, having a heavenly day? Well good, because today I will be your guide to Heaven city, the real city of angels! The game is Immortals, an almost out of beta MMORPG about the conflict between heaven and hell. I played as a deity, one of the four playable races in Immortals. As a deity you have the cool perk of floating everywhere, showing how much detail each individual race has received. The city is built on floating rocks in the clouds connected by a network of bridges. The sight was breathtaking as I gazed at mountain peaks that broke the barrier of clouds.
There are five different floating districts in Heaven city and six shops (Not counting my personal favorite, the wine deitys store). This makes for plenty of room to roam, and access to two different hunting areas. But what one must always have for every city town and village, are quests! I found myself chatting up the locals until I came face to face with a chubby little fellow called the deity of wine. I was buying wine for another heavenly deity who is in charge of handing out recommendations for heavens army. If you want in the force, youre going to have to go to great lengths for the heavenly booze.
After a bit of chatting, I found myself killing mobs on floating patches of grass. It was a quite enjoyable experience, and after a bit I was onto the next mission. The story line is quite dynamic and exiting, with plenty of missions to help with the up-hill grind of those early levels. Whats the hottest spot in heaven city? I think that the wine deities house is the hottest spot. A nice view of the mortal realm and a jug of famous jade wine make it a great place to relax.
As a Deity you have the option of two classes, the summoner and the caster. You chose your class by doing a specific quest. As the summoner you can get a powerful summoned creature or summon to fight for you like a pet, they also use seals, which you cast on the ground and act as traps. As the caster you are a hard-hitting spell slinger. This essentially means they rely on using very powerful spells. These include things from the traditional fireball to sleep spells to my personal favorite of making meteors rain from the sky. This makes for an AWSOME party combo sure to put you opponents to shame.
There are plenty of people to talk to in heaven city, there are also many vendors. The city is not so large that one could not get around reasonably, but it is still big enough to impress. With the spectacular view, missions, and lots of shops, Heaven city is a must-see on any Immortals tour.
