An Jia village is the first domain of the humans, we land here as we enter the new MMO Immortals, set in early Chinese mythological times some 5000 years ago. Here in the headquarters of the human forces, players will make friends, kill monsters, obtain weapons and get skills. In An Jia village there are several NPCs that guide you along your beginning quests, and offer unique side quests. I began a quest to get soul rendering powder, which took me to the back woods of An Jia, a new map with many of types of monsters. After I had killed the necessary monsters, and gotten the right drop items, I returned to town to tackle some more of these quests, for my current low level human.

After completing a couple introduction story line quests, I was able to select a class for my human. As a human I had the opportunity to become three different classes: a Doctor, a Warrior or an Archer. The Doctor is a hybrid healer warrior, who uses a combination of poisons and melee attacks. This character has the ability to heal himself and teammates. The Warrior can be an agile hard hitting opponent or a solid tank character. The Archer slays his enemies with a bow; he has great agility and strikes from a far. These classes can all be altered uniquely by applying attribute points differently to making characters of the same class individual, and reflecting your personal style.

In the end I decided to go with a warrior, I really like being able to hit hard but still evade. I found an interesting side quest for an in game Title, I had to slay a 100 boars! So I set off to the back woods of An Jia to massacre one-hundred boars. I leveled up pretty quick on those boars and went onto a new quest.

Im now a level four and deciding to get ambitious and take some foxes. They are level 7s a pretty aggressive. I grouped up with some other humans also out hunting foxes. While in a party we gained xp like crazy. Partying is key to xp. With a party of fellow humans, it was great fun and went faster with other people. Soon I was level 6 and I continued to quest.

You will find the weapons that you buy are not as good as the ones you pick up, you may also find there is a quest to that lets you set up your own shop. This is a clever way to creating an in-game economy. You will also find that other races weapons often drop for you, this is also meant to help jump-start an economy. I wouldnt be surprised to see An Jia village gradually fill up with newbie shops.

An Jia village is a great place to quest, hunt, and gather some hefty skills. This is a bloody must on the list of places to stop on any tour of Immortal proportions.

Forever with you in game hunting,
